Day 1: Ha Noi -Catcat –Y Linh Ho-Lao Chai-Ta Van (-/L/D) : By Bus
6:30am: Meet your guide and driver at your hotel departure to Sa Pa . Travelling the new Highway ‘NoiBai’, Lao Cai, length 245km, will take around 5 hours. You will have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful scenery of the region, while the road.
12:00: Arrival in Sapa . After have lunch time .
Trek around 5 km to visit a village of the Black H'mong (CatCat). You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while and enjoy traditional dances of ethnic minorities, before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river.
You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river.
In the afternoon:
Start trekking downhill Y Linh Ho hamlet. The trek offers some stunning views of the rice terraces, gardens and Fan Si Pan mountain ranges. After going through a suspension bridge, we start walking up to Lao Chai San village.
There we are experiencing the richest traditional culture of Black H’Mong people in the region. The trekking route offers a breathtaking view of vegetable gardens and rice terraces with green mountains rising above. There will be time for visiting with local families and learning about their traditional fiber processing.
After this you continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. Ta Van is a small village set within a picturesque valley not far from the northern Vietnamese mountain resort of Sa Pa. The area is renowned for its colorful ethnic minorities, and Ta Van is home to two such groups. Arrive in Ta Van. Dinner with local family.
Overnight at a Dzay family in this village.
Day 2: Ta Van-Giang Ta Chai-Su Pan-Ban Ho- Sa Pa (B/ L/ D): By Bus
8.00 am: Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village and have a breakfast.
9.30 a.m: Take the road get to a village located at the foot of Hoang Lien range via bamboo forests.
11.30 a.m: Arrive Giang Ta Chai village; it is home to the Red Dzao who wears plain black trousers and a long black tunic with embroidered cuffs and lapels. From here, we can visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge.
1.30 p.m: After the village, get down to the river, cross it and keep going to Su Pan Village for 2 minorities – The H’Mong and the Red Dzao. Also located along MuongHoa Valley like Lao Chai and Ta Van but Su Pan Commune can be referred to as “mountainous commune”. Occupying the highland on the east side of the main road about 17 Km from Sapa town, Su Pan including 4 small hamlets of the Black H’mong and Red Zao looks down to the MuongHoa Valley and is one of the poorest commune to Sapa due to the thin and poor soil, you can take a rest while you are served lunch.
3.00 p.m: Get off the road to go downhill to Ban Ho village.
4.00 p.m: Arrive in Ban Ho village; Ban Ho is worth the somewhat difficult journey to get there, as the village rewards visitors with stunning views of unspoiled sites and an opportunity to discover the daily activities of the ethnic people Tay.
4.30 p.m: Walk out of the Lavie Stream in the scenic village Ban Ho, more than 26 kilometers away from the famous resort town of Sapa. The water was fresh and cleans in the stream which ran from rocks and hills where a few minority groups live.
Young citizens of Lao Cai Province Vietnam and foreign tourists often trek to Ban Ho to indulge in the pristine Lavie Stream, enjoy the sweet sound of running water from the CaNhay Waterfalls and other natural attractions of the tranquil village.
5.30 p.m: Take the bus back to Sa Pa.
Enjoy dinner and overnight in Sa Pa.
Day 3: Sapa – Hanoi (B, L): By Bus
8.00 a.m: After breakfast, Have free time take a walking tour of Sapa for a visit to the busy market where Red Dao, Black & Flower H'Mong, Tay and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their silverware and handicrafts, vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs…
The rest few hours in the afternoon is for freshen up to take by bus back to Ha Noi . End of tour.
Bring walking shoes, raincoat, jacket, extra clothes, torch, insect repellent and sunscreen...
