Mai Chau, located in Hoa Binh province, some 140km from Hanoi was an interesting destination for my 2 day-trip on the occasion of National Victory Day- April 30th and International working day May 1st.

I had many chances to learn about the natural beauties of Hoa Binh and Mai Chau, considered as the heart of the Tonkin and longing for a trip to Mai Chau for a long time. A dream came true when our company operated a farm trip to detective Mai Chau’s tourism conditions and infrastructure and of course, I was one of the fist volunteers of 7 members in this journey.

On 23/2/2009 I took part in Halong Bay Tour with ODC Travel. I felt very lucky and happy when I visited to Halong Bay - the World’s Heritage. And these are some photos I took when I was there. 

 We started from Hanoi at 8h and stopped for rest and shopping in Sao Do - Hai Duong. I bought some thing there, It’s very beautful but really expensive. And then we came to Halong city, we took a small boat to the Sun Cruise Boat from Halong Harbour.

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi - Haiphong - Catba (-. L, D)

Arrive at Noi Bai airport. Pick up and transfer to Hai Phong (120km). Visit Hang Kenh Temple, Du Hang pagoda, Sat Market and Theatre. Then take a bus to Dinh Vu ferry and take a hydrofoil to Phu Long - Cat Ba (20 minutes). Check in hotel. Free time. O/N in Cat Ba Island.

Day 2: Catba - Lanha Bay - Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Early in the morning, enjoy a sunrise cruise in the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay. Continue to cruise to Lan Ha bay, discover Luon Cave, Tung Ga Cave, third Cat and fith Cat by kayaking and swimming at Van Boi beach…. Cruise back to Halong Bay, visit Sung Sot cave, Ga Choi and Dinh Huong Island, visit fish - farm…. O/N in Tuan Chau Island.
